Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку в 8 и 6 классах( театральная постановка) « Alice’s adventures in Wonderland »( «Алиса в Стране Чудес») Scene 1 Alice’s sister: There were a lot of rich and famous people at the party and the most important lords had arrived there. The scenery was fantastic and all the guests were wearing expensive clothes. Alice, why aren’t you listening? Alice: The book is boring. I dislike books without pictures. Alice’s sister: There are a lot of good books in the world without pictures. Alice: In this world…but in my world all the books are with pictures. Alice’s sister: Your world? What nonsense! Alice: In my world everything is special! Alice’s sister: Really? ( A rabbit is running) Rabbit: Oh, dear! I shall be late! I shall be late! Alice: Mr. Rabbit! Mr. Rabbit! Please! Stop! Stop! Mr. Rabbit! Wait! Wait! Rabbit: No, no, no! No time to say good- bye! I’m late! I’m late! A very important date! Alice: Oh, what is happening? I’m falling down… Scene 2( The caterpillar appears with a ribbon. It starts dancing. At the end of her dance the mushroom standing on one knee gives her a flower as a present) . Mushroom: You are good at dancing. Caterpillar: Thank you ever so much! ( Alice starts applauding) . Caterpillar: Who are you? Tell us, please. Alice: I don’t know. It would be more polite to tell me your name first of all! Caterpillar: Oh, girl, come back, please! Mushroom: Never get angry! Caterpillar: I can help you! Alice: How can you? Caterpillar: Remember! One side will make you taller and the other side will make you shorter! Alice: One side of what? Mushroom: Of what? Of the mushroom. Alice: But the mushroom is round… I’ll take two opposite pieces. Thank you! ( The mushroom and the caterpillar are going away. Alice is walking across the forest thoughtfully) . Scene 3 Alice: Oh! You are a cat! Cat: I am not an ordinary cat. I am the Cheshire Cat. Alice: Tell me, where I should go! Cat: It depends on your wish. If I were looking for the White Rabbit I would ask the mad Hatter. Alice: The mad Hatter? Cat: In our world everybody is a little bit mad. Scene 4( Alice keeps on walking and finds herself at the mad tea- party. The March Hare, the Hatter and the Dormouse sin g. Alice applauds and tries to take her seat at the table) . The Hatter: No, no! The Hare: We haven’t invited you to tea. The Dormouse: There are no vacant seats. Alice: It seems to me there are lots of seats. The Hatter: It’s impolite of you to sit down when you are not invited. The Hare: It wasn’t very polite of you. Alice: Excuse me, please, I liked your song very much. The Dormouse: Did you really like our song? The Hatter: What a nice girl! The Hare: Have some tea with us! Alice: Sorry, I have spoilt your birthday party. The Dormouse: You are wrong! We are having the unbirthday party. Alice: The unbirthday party? The Hatter: We’ll explain everything to you now. The Hare: A Birthday is celebrated only once a year. The Hatter: And an unbirthday is marked 364 times a year! Alice: Then I am having an unbirthday today too, aren’t I? The Hare: Certainly! ( The Hatter, the Hare and the Dormouse sing) . The Dormouse: Maybe, you would like some more tea? Alice: I have drunk no tea yet. The H atter: Don’t you like tea? Alice: I enjoy tea but I have no time. ( The White Rabbit appears. It is running along the stage) . Rabbit: Oh, dear! Oh, dear! I shall be late! Alice: Mr. Rabbit! Mr. Rabbit! ( She is running after the rabbit. ) I have lost my way. Scene 5( The Cheshire Cat appears) . Alice: Oh, Mr. Cheshire Cat! I want to go home but I can’t find my way. Cat: Naturally! All the ways here belong to the Red Queen! Alice: To the Queen? I haven’t seen any Queen here… Cat: Then you must see her by all means! Scene 6 Alice: Excuse me, please! Why are you painting the roses red? Card 1: Because it is our Queen’s favourite colour. ( Cards, the Queen and the King appear. The White Rabbit appears breathing heavily) . Rabbit: Her Majesty, the Queen of Hearts! KING: AND THE KING! ( The queen sees roses which have not been painted yet and gets furious) . Queen: Who has been painting my roses red and hasn’t finished yet? Who? Who? Off with their heads! Card 2: It was he! Card 3: No, it was he! Card 1 and Card 2: No, it was he! Queen: Off with their heads! Alice: Oh, please, don’t do it! They have done their best. Queen: And who is it? KING: NOW I ’ L L HAVE A LOOK. THIS IS ONLY A LITTLE GIRL. Queen: Right you are. She is really a girl. Queen to Alice: You must always bow to me and answer my questions saying: “Yes, Your Majesty! ” Do you understand me? Alice bowing: Yes, Your Majesty! Queen: Very well! ( The Queen turns away from Alice and the Cheshire cat appears) . Cat: Well, how are you getting on? Alice: It’s very difficult to say. I’m not getting on at all. Queen: Who are you talking to? Alice: It’s a friend of mine — a Cheshire Cat. Queen: A Cat? What kind of cat? Where is it? Alice: Here it is. ( The queen looks around and the cat vanishes) . Queen: REMEMBER! If I lose my patience you will lose your head. Cat: I think we will be able to make her really furious! Let’s try! Alice: No, no! Don’t do it! Cat: It’ll be hilarious! ( The cat pushes the queen and she falls down) . Alice: It’s terrible! KING: WHO DARES TO DO HARM TO THE QUEEN? Queen to Alice: You will answer for it. You are to blame! Off with her head! KING: YOUR MAJESTY! MAYBE, WE’LL HAVE SOME KIND OF TRIAL FOR HER? Queen: Very good! Let the trial begin! Rabbit: Silence! The trial will now begin! The arrested is accused of making her Majesty lose her patience. Queen: Off with her head! Alice: Oh! My mushroom! I am not afraid of you! You are only a pack of cards! KING: RULE № 42 SAYS: ALL PEOPLE A MILE HIGH MUST LEAVE THE ROOM. Alice: I don’t obey your rules, Your Majesty! You are so fat, old and furious! Queen: Off with her head! ( Alice runs away) . Queen: Chase her! Don’t let her run away! Scene 7 Alice’s sister: Wake up, Alice, dear! You’ve been asleep for a long time. Alice: Oh? I’ve had a very curious dream!
